Invern – Winter on Börz
Cross-country skiing and snowshoe adventures at Passo delle Erbe
Winter brings a radical change in the Puez-Odle Nature Park's scenery. A soft white blanket covers the Putia and the meadows surrounding it, creating a peaceful and cosy ambiance. The hiking and trekking season is finally over, kick-starting the time for cross-country skiing, sledding, snow-shoe excursions and peaceful walks in the snow-covered woodlands. Alpine skiing is popular in the nearby ski area of Plose, as well as on Plan de Corones and in Alta Badia.
Plunge into an incomparable natural scenery
Passo delle Erbe is a haven of peace and silence, tucked away from crowded ski areas. It is the ideal retreat for those looking for the most peaceful and romantic side of the Dolomites and South Tyrol. The splendour of snow-capped sceneries, the thrill of a toboggan run, the pleasure of cross-country skiing in the silence of woods covered in white and the sensation of being the first to leave your mark on the soft, fresh snow. And if you can't do without alpine skiing, the slopes of the Plose, Kronplatz and Alta Badia ski areas are not too far away.
During the winter months only the Val Badia side of Passo delle Erbe is open, while the Bressanone / Brixen and Funes / Villnöß side is closed until mid-spring
